Food is delicious!!! Perfect for a quick & tasty meal!! You've got to try it! AND, we didn't have dessert but it did make our mouths water!!!

Delicious food and deserts! We had a special girl's lunch here to celebrate my daughter's birthday and she absolutely loved it.

Great food! The place is really pretty and a great place for a lady's brunch. The food came super fast. I will be going back!!!

The menu is simple, food is good, dessert is better and service is so friendly! Everyone is so nice & welcoming. I also ordered from them for our game night guests and it was a huge hit! Everyone was obsessed with the chicken salad and broccoli salad! I wish i could have said that I made it lol 😄 Definitely on the list of my favorite go to spots! Try the yum yum pie! The only negative thing I could think of is the egg salad is a bit bland but it was still good. My first visit there I tried almost everything on the menu and half of the desserts on their list 🥧

I took my 6 year old daughter for lunch. The service was great and everyone was polite but it smelled awful in there. It was very unappetizing. We decided to just order dessert to make it quick. The chocolate cake and Yum Yum Pie was delicious but we asked for a to-go box so we could get out of there. I think we were in there maybe 15 minutes tops.

I recently just stumbled on this cafe while browsing the beautiful downtown area of Tomball. What a gem! Friendly and fast service. The decor is precious, and the food... DO NOT EXPECT ME TO SHARE!! Their Spinach Chicken Enchilada Casserole is amazing. I had the enchilada combo: my sides were the tortilla soup (Yummy!) and broccoli salad (A pleasant first time trying this.) joined by a magically refilling glass of unsweetened ice tea (They do have premade sweet tea, also. There's no need to pile sugar at the bottom of your glass of unsweet tea!). If you are anywhere near Tomball for lunch, make your way to The Whistle Stop Cafe. There's no way you'll regret it.

Very quaint! Quiche Lorraine was delicious filling. Cherry crunch very good & the cinnamon tea hit the spot on a cold day. Service was good.

Absolutely the best!!! Cindy, the owner, is always there with her personal touch. The food is top notch as well as the service. The desserts are mouthwatering and you cannot go wrong with a BLT.

This place is delicious! My daughter (7) and I go regularly. I get the chicken salad salad with broccoli salad and no dressing! It is so good! My daughter gets a kids meal with fruit and chips. They bring her tea in a tea pot, she loves it! The staff is super sweet and the owner is so friendly! I have brought my 3 year old son on occasion but he is a wild child so I try not to just out of respect for the people there trying to have girls days with no kiddos! I have never had issues with the staff or owner being ugly to him when he would come! They are a little pricey but it’s worth it to us! The peach cobbler with ice cream is our favorite dessert!!

The was my first visit to the Whistle Stop. I had heard great things about the food and customer service. I can confirm that the rave reviews are genuine!My party and I were seated quickly upon arrival, despite it being a busy Saturday afternoon. Our waitress was cheerful and prompt. She continuously checked on us and refilled our drinks as needed throughout our visit. The food was DELICIOUS!!!!!! My friends ordered the soup and sandwich combo. I ordered the soup and salad combo. Everything was fresh and well seasoned. We were satisfied with what we ordered.The overall experience was pleasant.

Very good impression on 1st visit. I have to recommend on the horseradish creamy sauce. Only that we were led to be seated at the far end of dining hall which is usually common for hostess every time they saw an Asian in the group. Thankful that this time, the hostess understands my hubby does not walk to far end. We seated as we chosen. Thumbs up on steaks, if you like medium rare.

This has been a favorite place to eat for 20 years. Such a home feel and great place to go with family, friends or even business partners. Try the yum yum pie.

This is a tea Room in downtown Tomball very close to the railroad tracks in a shopping area that is highly themed. The clientele is largely female and the menu caters mostly to female customers. It's a nice place with reasonably good food but just a little pricey.

Great place to go for a friend's get together. Food is great, nice menu, fabulous pies. The staff is friendly and considerate. You are not rushed. We keep going back!

Charming tea room. Very popular, bumped into some friends. I met another friend for lunch. You might want to go early because it gets very busy. It's a great stop when visiting the shops in Tomball.

This is a cozy little spot in Tomball with a family-like atmosphere. The staff and owner made us all feel very welcomed and "at home" and came over several times to engage in genuine conversation and see if we were okay. I had the spinach salad, and it was delicious! I would definitely visit again.

Amazing service. Very kid friendly...making it a wonderful place for a young ladies 8th birthday. The manager made it so special for her. She got home and excitedly exclaimed to her dad that she has a job offer in 8 more years! Not what I thought was the best part of breakfast, but the favorite part of her birthday brunch with grown up ladies. Thank you Whistle Stop.

Was my 2nd time to eat here and really enjoyed it. Love all the shops you can just walk one to the other. Nice place to spend a few hours with good food and then some unique shopping.

This is a quaint, cozy little place to eat while antique shopping in Tomball. I got the chicken salad on a croissant with a cup of tortilla soup, both chooses were great. Then chased all that down with a decadent slice of key lime pie!

This place is always a pleasure to visit! Good and service is top notch! The owner actually works the register which I love. Just a personal touch to an already wonderful restaurant. I've been going for years and will continue.

This used to be so fresh and good. The chocolate cake was $6 and tasted stale. It was hard, dry and just not worth the price. I took two bites and was done. Too bad, used to be the go to spot for desserts.

Cute little place for tea and dessert

Brought some friends who never have been there and as always it is amazing. I usually get the chicken salad salad with brocolli salad surrounding it. It is a beautiful display and huge portion. Sandwiches that go out to the tables looked amazing. I got a big mouth for talking but not for opening so wide to eat a sandwich. Lol. And of course I had to box half my salad so that I make room for the must have bread pudding. NEVeR been a fan of this dessert until I came to whistle stop. One day I will bring someone who will order the yum yum pie so I can try it too. My friends ordered the peach cobbler and it was great too. A little too sweet for me but the favors. AMAZING

Service was really good. My wife and I were greeted kindly and shown to our table. We were having a bit of an off day, needed a lot of time to decide our order. Our server was very patient and showed no hint of frustration or impatience. She readily answer all our questions, including the same question a few times, all with a kind smile. Our food took a little long to get once we did order, but the place was very very busy. When we did get the food, it was all very good. It won't be a normal spot for us to hit up, but we will certainly want to show our friends and family when we want to show them around Tomball.

Everything I ordered was delicious. I had a jalapeño pimento half- sandwich on white bread. The bread was more substantial than your average sandwich bread, with a slightly dense texture but still somehow very soft and fresh (I am VERY picky about my bread.) I also had a cup of mushroom bisque, which at first look seemed watery but the flavor is outstanding. I chose the pasta salad as my side which was good, but not describing- bread- texture good. For dessert we ordered lemon blueberry cake. The slices were huge-- one slice could have been split between 2 cake loving people. It was on the pricey side, but it's a small cafe in the middle of town so I can see the prices as justified. Overall 8/10 would recommend

This place is almost a once a month trip for my daughter and I! We love our lunches here and her fave part is the desserts! The pasta salad and chicken salad are top notch! My daughter loves their tortilla soup...she gets it everytime. The staff and owner are always so friendly and welcoming!
